Naaza and Aki

I really, really, really don't like Naaza's original design. The pinpoint eyes, lack of eyebrows, and receding hairline (I know he isn't, actually, he's way too young, but that's how it looks) bother me. Half Naga or not, there's no damn reason he can't be CUTE too. I blame Teh Ugly on the fact that Samurai Troopers is a GUY anime...or supposed to be, anyway. I know far more female than male fans of the show, oddly enough.

Aki is that thar snake. Her name means "autumn". I tried to pattern her thus.

For those of you unfortunate enough to be dubbers, by circumstance or choice, Naaza is Sekhmet in the U.S. dub. Yes, I am bashing dubbers. Eat me. (Though Yu Yu wasn't too bad. Hmm. Anyway...)
