Ronin Redesigns

So if you don't know, Sailor Moon just got a remake. I dunno how 'updated' it is, but still, it got me thinking of another old anime I'd like to see redone at some point, though it'll probably never happen. So, for the all three of you who remember Ronin Warriors / Yoroiden Samurai Troopers, here are some contemporary versions of the boys.

Shin Mouri / Sai: While I did take away his 80's-tastic mullet, I think he's the only one who got more, rather than less fluffy. Also, this guy has no clothes sense. Gave him a little darker skin than canon because he's out swimming a lot.

Shu Rei Fuan / Kento: Basically the same, but toned down the fluffy hair a little. Other'n that, the guy's just not all that dated, so he's good to go. Kind of wanted to give him brown eyes, but chickened out and stuck to canon on that.

Ryo Sanada: Fiance said I should keep Ryo's curly, fluffy, sporty/hippie hybrid hair, so I kinda kept it and just kinda tried to un-1980's it. I dunno, not 100% happy with it but hey, I gave it my best. (Art-wise, Ryo is fucked up from the neck down, s'what I get for trying out poses I'm not comfortable with, but hey, it was good practice?) Edit: Fixed him a little?

Touma Hashiba / Rowen: Kept the distinctive cowlick down the middle of his face. Went with Nikki's idea of dyed blue tipping as opposed to all of it being blue. He sometimes wears glasses in material outside the anime and I wanted to put him in them, so there.

Seiji Date / Sage: Probably the most radical change, because fuck that helmet hair of his. It might have been in fashion at some point but uh...can't see him wearing that style in a contemporary setting. I let him keep his eye covered though. Story reasons for that one.

So there you go. Not sure many people enjoyed/remember this ancient sentai anime but if you do, hey, feel free to make your own updated versions, I think it'd be fun to see other people's takes. Maybe you can come up with ideas I like even better!
